The first of a series of 'Windows 8 ready' tablets will be making its debut at CES 2012 where punters will be able to try out Windows 8 preview on the device
The first 'Windows 8 ready' tablet has been announced in the unlikely form of the Kupa X11 which will be showing Windows 8 preview at CES 2012 in Las Vegas.
Featuring a 1.5 Ghz Intel Oak Trail processor the Kupa X11 will launch running Windows 7 professional but has been deemed 'Windows 8 ready' which means when the software arrives the X11 will be good to go.
With a 10.1 inch screen offering up a resolution of 1366x768 the X11 is offering up a 10 hour battery life and 2GB of RAM to make sure it can multi-task without a hitch.
It also features a range of storage options with sizes ranging from 64GB to 128GB of SSD, of course the storage will impact on the final price but with that amount of storage on a tablet you may be willing to pay extra.
Finally the Kupa X11 will come with a pen and also a 3G slot letting you connect the X11 to a network of your choice. There's no word as yet on whether it'll be heading to the UK.
