Two of the tech industry’s most addictive, globally dominant forces have teamed up with gaming mega app Angry Birds landing on Facebook for the first time.
Long tipped to make the jump to the world’s largest social network, Angry Birds has official landed on Facebook with eager gamers able to challenge their friends to duke it out over the bird-flinging release through a flurry of new social friendly features.
“The Angry Birds are finally here!” the game’s official Facebook listing has announced. “Use power ups to supercharge your birds. Play to win and compete with your friends for gold crowns!”
Originally released for the iPhone back in December of 2009 Angry Birds, developed by Rovio, has gone on to become a global phenomenon with more than 700 million downloads to date seeing the app released for iPad, Android, Windows Phone and a host of other platforms.
