HTC might have unleashed a whopping FIVE Windows Phone 7 handsets on the platform's launch day, but the HTC HD7 might just be the pick of the bunch
The device, which many are already saying is the WP7 equivalent to the Desire HD is toting a gigantic 4.3-inch, 800x480 screen, and is tailored for watching movies, with a neat kick-stand which also acts as the camera lens cover.
It'll also have 8GB or 16GB of internal memory for storing all of those movies and TV shows. As well as being a movie watching titan, it'll shoot HD video at 720p and 24 frames-per-second and boasts the necessary 5-megapixel camera to fit Microsoft's WP7 specs.
Naturally, there's also a 1GHz processor and all of the Windows Phone 7 goodness the company has been trumpeting since Mobile World Congress back in February.
The handset will be exclusive to O2 and available to own from the 21st October. Each of the UK networks are getting a piece of the WP7 pie, so check out who's got what here.
The naming convention follows on from HTC's last WIndows Mobile excursions, the HTC HD2 and the HTC HD Mini.
