HTC’s first dual-core smartphone the HTC Sensation is to land on O2 and Orange network plans from July 8th, retailer Phones4U has revealed.
Currently exclusively held by Vodafone, the HTC Sensation comes fully equipped with Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS directly challenging Samsung’s Galaxy S II handset atop the premium smartphone charts with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.
Whilst O2 and Orange have yet to directly reveal their release plans for the HTC Sensation, Phones4U has announced it will offer the device tied to the two network’s services early next month with a £30 per month two-year deal bagging wannabe owners a free handset with 500 monthly minutes, 3,000 texts and 500MB of inclusive data. Pre-orders through the retailer are now open.
With 768MB of RAM complimenting the Sensation’s 1.2GHz dual-core processor, HTC’s new flagship device boasts an all-round impressive specs sheet boosted by a 4.3-inch qHD display, an 8-megapixel rear mounted with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities at 30 fps and a second, forward-facing 1.3-megapixel snapper.
