FIFA 12 Online
As gaming fans snap up FIFA 12, EA has revealed that online activity for the hugely successful gaming franchise has spiked with October 1st marking a record for online FIFA gameplay. Having clocked up more than 200 million minutes of online game time since launch FIFA 12 accounted for 8 million of the 10 million online FIFA sessions held a day after its UK arrival.
"FIFA 12 is a stunning achievement by our team at EA Canada," said Andrew Wilson, executive vice president of EA Sports.
"The massive FIFA online community has overwhelmingly connected to the new live services in the game, including EA Sports Football Club, and we intend to keep them engaged all season long as FIFA 12 follows the heartbeat of the football season."
