Canon A1200 and A2200 compact cameras announced
The first day of CES 2011 is still yet to open in Las Vegas, but gadgets are already sneaking out of the expos’s many folds. Case in point is Canon’s newest cameras, the A1200 and A2200 – 12.1 and 14.1-Megapixel compacts that were announced earlier today.
Both cams feature generous 2.7-inch LCD screens, 4x optical zooms, Canon’s DIGIC 4 image processing and HD video recording. The lesser specced A1200 runs on AA batteries, while the A2200 boasts a Lithium iON battery.
Canon says of the new cams: “The PowerShot A2200 and PowerShot A1200 combine Canon know-how with HD video capture and easy-to-use shooting modes including Smart Auto – making it simple for everyone to achieve great results with one simple touch of a button.”

We're working to fix the problem right now and will have it working as soon as possible
