DJI’s affordable successor to the Mini 4K just saw its price crash for the first time since launch
The Lito 1 is going for less on Amazon right now
DJI's Mini 4K beginner drone became a bit of a pilot favourite in recent years, thanks to its versatility and affordable price point. It was so popular that DJI decided to create not one but two successors, the Lito 1 and the Lito X1. Now, the former received its first-ever price cut, knocking 10% off its RRP.
Better still, as far as I can tell, today is the first day you can get the drone for less, which is pretty special. If you like the Mini 4K, the Lito 1 will feel like an excellent update without pushing you too much into pro-pilot territory. Plus, it's pretty affordable at full price, let alone with a bit of a discount.
DJI’s beginner-friendly Lito 1 is already 10% off, bringing the price down by £30. This compact sub-249g drone packs 4K/60fps video, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, ActiveTrack 360° and up to 36 minutes of flight time into its foldable body.
The DJI Lito 1 is an affordable, beginner-friendly camera drone that weighs under 249g, which falls within the least restrictive flying category in the UK.
Its camera combines a 1/2-inch, 48-megapixel CMOS sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a three-axis mechanical gimbal. It can record 4K video at up to 60 fps, capture 4K slow-motion footage at 100 fps, and shoot stills at up to 8K resolution.
Despite its entry-level positioning, the Lito 1 features omnidirectional obstacle sensing and ActiveTrack 360°, allowing it to follow moving subjects while helping inexperienced pilots avoid collisions. QuickShots, MasterShots, Hyperlapse and Panorama modes provide automated options for creating more polished footage.
The standard battery delivers up to 36 minutes of flight time, while DJI’s transmission system provides a maximum 15km video range. Wi-Fi 6 QuickTransfer supports file transfers at up to 50MB/s, and the foldable design makes the drone easy to carry between locations.
