If we had a penny for every white gadget since the iPod, we'd be able to afford an army of AIBOs by now. This snapper sports the fashionable white casing, but is more for kids than serious gadgeteers. It feels a bit too light and plasticky, and the screen is small and murky - in anything but bright light it's impossible to see what's going on.

Options are minimal, with not even an optical zoom - just a jerky digital jobby. Our smeary three-megapixel pics had some discolouration around the edges too - simplicity and price are the only real bonuses. Like the Crazy Frog, this is something best left to "da kids".
