Whether they were cancelled games, shelved for a later date or never made it past the concept stages, these are the 50 games that got canned
Some will have deservedly been canned, others may have potentially gone toe-to-toe with gaming titans of this world, such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. Eitherway, we've rounded up 50 games from across the console platforms (from PS3 to Xbox 360) and PC realms that may never make it to fruition. Would they be in your collection if they existed? You be the judge...

Dirty Harry (Playstation 3 and Xbox 360)
Harry Callahan aka Clint Eastwood was set to reprise his role as San Francisco’s finest officer of the law for this video game outing. It sounded like a match made in heaven and Clint was even set to lend his expertise and distinctive looks to the game that followed the same storyline as the film. Closure of developer Foundation 9 seemed to be the nail in the coffin and while in 2007 cancellation was regarded off the mark by publisher Warner Bros. Interactive, it’s now 2011 and we’ve seen no signs of Dirty Harry.
