UK mobile provider Three has seen its future product roadmap leak with upcoming tablets the HTC Flayer and the BlackBerry PlayBook both set to land on the network.
Appearing alongside a host of other leaked devices including the Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini, both the Flayer and the PlayBook have appeared as coming to Three with arrival dates pegged on alongside the awaited tablet attempts from two of the mobile industry’s leading players.
Having been officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress last month, HTC’s first foray into the tablet market is reported as heading for a May release on the Three network with BlackBerry’s PlayBook, first unveiled back in September set to follow the Flyer with a June arrival.
Both featuring a 7-inch form factor the Flyer will launch running Google’s Android 2.4 operating system, Gingerbread whilst the PlayBook runs the new QNX OS. With the PlayBook hosting a 1GHz dual-core processor compared to the stylus-touting Flyer which sports a single 1.5GHz processor, the BlackBerry tablet completes its incoming specs with front and rear facing cameras and 1GB of RAM.
