Nintendo’s upcoming Wii replacement and still somewhat mysterious console the Nintendo Wii U is tipped to sport eReader capabilities from launch, new reports have revealed.
Adding to the Wii U’s eclectic array of features the touted eReader capabilities have been claimed by web blog Forgetthebox which has citied an unnamed insider in its report that future Wii U users will be able to download eBooks for viewing on the device’s tablet-esque touchscreen touting controller.

Officially unveiled at E3 last year Nintendo outed the Wii U to little fanfare and much confusion with the motion gaming specialist set to support just one touchscreen boasting, pricey controller.
Whilst Ninty has yet to confirm any Wii U eReader credentials the console, which is set to be showcased once again next week during CES 2012, is rumoured to be getting its own dedicated app store with eBook a very possible inclusion within its additional content outlet.
