Facebook phone renamed in Spain.
HTC ChaCha now ChaChaCha in Spain
The HTC ChaCha is arguably the most ludicrously monikered mobile of all time. And now it’s comes with even more mirth attached thanks to being renamed the HTC ChaChaCha over in Spain.
The reason? ChaCha is something of an insult in Spanish. The new name conjures up fast-footed dance move rather than a phone with a dedicated button for the world’s biggest social network.
It comes off the back of mobile search engine ChaCha suing HTC over the name. Clearly the Taiwanese tech titan wasn’t clued up about what this title meant before unleashing the phone at MWC.
