Cut price games show Wii is reaching end of life.
Nintendo Selects: budget Wii games incoming
The Wii is set to get a new budget range of games, dubbed Nintendo Selects. The classic titles, yet to be officially confirmed, will include the likes of Wii Sports, Super Smash Bros. Ball, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Mario Super Sluggers.
US prices for the games will start at just $19.99, suggesting UK gamers should be able to snag them for around £15. The news comes as Nintendo preps an official price cut to follow the one US and UK retailers rolled out last month.
The move also shows that the Wii is finally reaching its golden years, with its successor set to be shown off at E3 in LA this June, before release in 2012.
