Asus unveils first Google Nexus 7 cases and covers
Best cases to buy
Following last week’s Google Nexus 7 tablet unveiling, the company behind the manufacturing of the Android 4.1 7-inch tablet, Asus, has revealed a selection of new Nexus 7 covers.
Outing the new Nexus 7 cases and covers via its official Twitter feed, Asus simply announced “And we've got things covered. #Nexus7” accompanying the official cases confirmation with a tantalising image of the selection of five varyingly hued wraparound covers.
With the Google Nexus 7 UK release date having yet to be confirmed in any greater detail than a July arrival, Asus has failed to offer any release or pricing details for the tablet’s new covers that look set to launch in light grey, magenta, cyan, orange and black colour forms.
Google Nexus 7 Features
Landing as Google’s first own-branded Nexus tablet, the Nexus 7 will land later this month as the launch device for the newly unveiled Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Packing a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, the Nexus 7 plays host to a high-end array of innards at a budget price with the 8GB storage tablet to be made available for just £159.99.
