Sony Cyber-shot T2
Bolstered with 8 megapixels, 3x optical zoom and onboard 4GB of internal memory, this little tyke should be a snapper to be reckoned with.
When it comes to snack sized snappers Sony's are the Mars bars of the selection box. Dependable and delicious. The latest in the Cyber-shot range is the tiny T2.
Mini in size and shaving mm off the plumper T20 and T200, design wise Sony has come up trumps. Sleek and smooth, the vertical slide down lens cover is stylish. Backed with a simple and intuitive 2.7 inch touch screen this snapper is a breeze to use. Whizzing through the menu is as quick as scoffing a post-pub sarnie.
Snaps are clear and detailed and lighting on pics is natural and colourful. Zoom is somewhat lacking, with a puny 3x optical. For the same price you could punt for the T200 and a whooping 5x zoom.
The peeper includes 4GB of internal memory and room for an SD card. Saving is speedy and access to the pics is easy through the menu. Peak at your snaps with Scrapbook, set up albums and use the Sharemark to whip your pics onto your PC. Sweet.
A bit pricey at £215 and with more of a sprinkling of features than a vast spread the T2 is a bit of a mid range average Joe. Sleek and smart it may be, but with the T20 and the T200 on the market, both with stacks of features, the T2 seems a little superficial.
