BioShock Infinite has no multiplayer
Games Reviews
Well here's something you don't see everyday: the developer for a forthcoming First Person Shooter stating that their game will definitely not have a multiplayer mode. That's the announcement that was made over the weekend by Irrational Games boss, Ken Levine.
In response to a query from a fan on Twitter about BioShock Infinite's online mode, Levine wrote, "no multi".
This doesn't mean however, the game won't feature any online mode whatsoever, just that for foreseeable future a competitive multplayer mode looks to be completely off the table.
By all accounts, BioShock Infinite sounds like it's had a rather turbulent development cycle. In the wake of some rather high profile departures from Irrational, including the principal systems designer, senior level designer and the game's the art director, Levine brought in Rod Fergusson, former Director of Production at Epic Games, has to help finish the game.
BioShock Infinite was originally scheduled for release at the end of this year, but has been delayed until February of 2013.

We're working to fix the problem right now and will have it working as soon as possible
