With Gran Turismo well known to be in the works a Sony survey has suggested Kazunori Yamauchi's team is also working on a PS Vita GT launch
Sony customer survey hints at Gran Turismo PS Vita release
Games reviews
Whilst gaming fans look ahead to the confirmed Gran Turismo 6 release, new reports have suggested Sony is preparing to launch the first Gran Turismo title for its PS Vita console.
Taking the ultra realistic driving simulator to the portable gaming market, a leaked consumer survey has hinted at a PS Vita Gran Turismo release, with participants asked by Sony “how interested” they would be in a Vita rendition of the globally successful racing sim.
Looking to further expand the reach of the innovative Vita console and change the fortunes of the reportedly slow selling gamer, survey participants were also asked if they would be more inclined to splash out on a Vita and subsequent games if they were to receive the title free in PS3 format upon purchase.
Gran Turismo 6 Rumours
Following the extensively delayed release of Gran Turismo 5 back in 2010 Sony, and the franchise’s infamous mastermind Kazunori Yamauchi, have confirmed a GT6 release is already in the works.
Due to the lengthy development process required by the highly detailed racing titles, it has been repeatedly rumoured that the upcoming Gran Turismo 6 launch will land as a launch title for the eagerly awaited PS4 console, a device repeatedly tipped for a 2013 arrival.
