Core 2 Duo 8700 premium laptop spotted

Just when we thought the dust was settling on IFA 2009 in Germany, Toshiba’s gone and whipped the proverbial lid off this: its Ducati-inspired U500 laptop.

With that Ducati badge you’d expect premium, and luckily everything seems to be that way inclined. There’s an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 graphics card, a Core 2 Duo 8700 processor and 4GB or RAM, meaning it’ll be perfect for belting out Windows 7 at, ahem, high speeds.
