Here in the UK we're approaching the end of the biggest-ever Amazon Spring Sale and we're working hard to keep the ever-changing best deals up to date. 

At this point we're over half way through eight days of great Amazon deals on thousands of items for your home, garden and elsewhere. A lot of these are very spring-seasonally themed as you'll see, with money off everything from mowers to laser hair removers.

Right up until midnight on Monday 15 April, the Amazon Spring Sale (or 'ASS' as probably nobody calls it) is slashing the price of a wide range of products also including, naturally, a wide array of Amazon devices – Fire tablets, Fire TV sticks, Kindle ebooks and Echo smart speakers with Mrs Alexa, your robot pal who's fun to be with.

Expect to see new discounts every day till Monday. Which, as we just said, is tomorrow.

The Amazon Spring Sale will largely involve three main types of Amazon deal: deals of the day, lightning deals and best deals. If you’re familiar with Amazon Prime Day, you’ll know that deals of the day are discounts that last for 24 hours; lightning deals are flash sales on limited quantities of products, and usually run for around six hours; and best deal discounts can run for up to two weeks. 

All three types of Amazon deal are subject to availability, though – so bear in mind that if you see something you want, it’s best to buy it there and then. Popular items will sell out well before a promotion’s official expiry date.

As usual, if you’re an Amazon Prime member – or you've signed up for a free 30-day trial (cancel within the 30 days and you won't have to pay a membership fee) – you’ll get a 30-minute early access period to all lightning deals. Which is handy if you really want the item...

There will also be special Amazon Spring Sale deals on the retailer’s ultra-fast delivery service, Prime Now, including an ‘April Showers’ offer of 20% off selected shower products, and 50% off Easter cards and gift wrap. These will be delivered in two-hour delivery slots, or within 60 minutes in selected postcodes. And Prime members can save up to 30% on their first try of AmazonFresh, Amazon’s grocery service, as well.
