Machinarium on PSN and 3 new games from developer
Amanita has a lot to be busy with this year
The team behind indie hit game Machinarium is coming out with three games currently in the works, with Machinarium coming out on PlayStation Network this year as well.
The games that are coming out by Amanita Design, a Czech-based company, are called Osada, Botanicula and Samorost 3.
Osada is an interactive music video, which according to boss Jakub Dvorsky, has "Czech psychedelic country music" and will be a free download on Amanita's website.
Botanicula is a point-and-click adventure that follows five tree dwellers on a mission to save their world from evil parasites, and the plans are to release it at the end of the year.
Samorost 3 is Amanita's big project on a larger scale than the previous titles in the series, and will be out for PC, consoles and tablets. No release date has been confirmed, and it's in its early development phases.
Dvorsky announced at GameCityNights in Nottingham that Machinarium (which came out in 2009) and will land on PSN, after being refused by Microsoft to be released on Xbox 360, who wanted exclusive rights.
