New SF series laptop combined performance and style

Rounded design revealed as Samsung turned on the style

Samsung has kickstarted this year's IFA mission by announcing a range of stylish new laptops, with a funky curved design and the latest powerful processors from Intel.

The SF Series, revealed in Berlin today, will come with Intel i3 or i5 processors built into the hub, a 7.5-hour battery life and three sizes; the 13-inch SF310, 14-inch SF410 and, naturally, the 15.6-inch SF510.

With a neat-looking rounded design and a matt black or ivory scratch-resistant casing, these machines have the looks to match the obvious power beneath the hub.

Also on show from Sammy today is the NF series netbooks, packing Intel Atom 550 processors, Windows 7 and DDR3 memory. The pick of the bunch is the NF310, which boasts a 1366 x 768 hi-res screen, while the NF210 offers a battery life of up to 14 hours.
