Love is...an old netbook

Forget the chocolates, flowers, romantic weekends or meals out, the only way to show your love on Valentine's Day is with the MSI Wind U100 Valentine Edition netbook. Well, according to MSI anyway.

The cynics amongst us might suggest this is just a way of clearing out a load of old netbooks. After all, the U100 has been kicking about since September. Indeed, that one was offered in pink too. So the only new thing here seems to be the the heart-shaped motif on the case. Well, not quite.

In truth, the 10-inch U100 has been upgraded just a little too, now offering a 1.6GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Well, we did say upgraded 'a little'.

The MSI Wind U100 Valentine Edition is also a limited edition, but how limited we don't know. Perhaps until MSI runs out of heart stickers? In the meantime, you can pick one up for around £312, which is considerably more than a bunch of flowers from the garage, but what price can you put on true love?
