Swatch smartwatch will arrive in August and won't need charging

The intelligent little timepiece will also include Bluetooth and NFC

According to Swatch CEO Nick Hayek the company's first smartwatch could arrive as early as August, with a range of exciting features that set it apart from the current crop wearables.

The most interesting feature of the Swatch is its impressive battery life, according to Reuters it "won't need to be charged". Hayek has yet to divulge how the company plan to achieve this, but he did tell Bloomberg they are working on innovative battery tech.
