High demand means iPad 2 is already running low.
iPad 2 supplies stretched as delays get longer
Demand for the iPad 2 in the United States is so high that Apple says there’s a four to five week wait for the second-gen slate to ship from its online store. The news comes after many Apple shops ran out of the new iPad on launch date.
Apple stores are opening early to try and cope with punters desperate to lay their hands on the iPad 2, with Cupertino saying there’s been “amazing” demand for the device.
However, with orders taking so long, it seems like only a matter of time before disgruntled punters turn on Apple. And with a 25 March launch slated for the UK, expect us Brits to have to face a similar fate.
