Halo Combat Evolved anniversary edition inbound
Master Chief gets remastered for a new generation of Halo fans.
Bungie might have moved on from the series after Reach, but Master Chief's battle against the forces of the alien Covenant aren't over by a long thread if Microsoft have anything to say about it. Not only did we hear from E3 today that Microsoft are launching another trilogy of Halo games featuring the mean green space marine, but also that they will be re-releasing the original Halo: Combat Evolved, with updated graphics and a half dozen recreated favourite multiplayer maps.
Fans of the original needn't worry, according to the bods at Microsoft - the physics engine is set to be exactly the same as the one found in the first Halo, meaning vehicles will still handle the same, weapons will keep their effects and Covenant corpses will still fly through the air in loyal tribute to the original.
The announcement of the remastered Halo will be released on November 15th, and you can check out the trailer below. In the meantime, stay tuned to T3.com for all the latest coverage from E3 in L.A.
