Huawei P30 Pro deals might be an older phone in the rapidly moving world of phone contracts but it remains an excellent value choice. With high-end specs and affordable pricing, there is a lot to like about this older phone.

Since the release of the newer Huawei P40, we've seen prices on Huawei P30 Pro deals collapse. Now, it looks to be one of the cheapest phones around considering the specs on-board.

The Huawei P30 Pro has seen significant drops in price since it appeared on the market only one year ago. It launched at £899 for its standard 128 GB version – then one of the most expensive smartphones available – and is now sold SIM-free at prices around the £699 mark from retailers like Argos and John Lewis.

If you've been researching buying this, or any Huawei phone, you will have probably heard about the on-going battle Huawei is having with the US government. A long and complicated issue but the key takeaway is that Huawei is no longer able to support Google apps.

Luckily, the Huawei P30 Pro snuck in there before the ban kicked in meaning it remains safe from this issue. When buying Huawei P30 Pro deals, you will continue to be able to download Google apps and make use of Android 10 features.

Should I go for the newer Huawei P40?

We don't actually feel like the newer P40 or P40 Pro is the better choice for most people. Not only is it much expensive than the P30 range but it is also void of any Google services.

Right now, the Huawei P30 Pro seems like the best value of all of Huawei's handsets. It's better than the regular P30 while still having a price tag that really isn't that much higher.

Then compared to the more recent Huawei P40, as we said above, the cheaper price tag and inclusion of Google apps really gives it the edge. Even compared to the likes of Samsung and Apple, this is one of the best value options out there.

Huawei's P30 range offers two devices - the P30 and P30 Pro. The difference is pretty simple, one is the spec heavy version with flashy cameras, high-end specs and more. The other is offering a super low price while still offering an impressive performance.

Obviously, the P30 Pro option is the more desirable choice here, especially considering prices have come down considerably recently but if it is still a tiny bit too expensive, consider the regular P30 instead.

Is the Huawei P30 Pro a good phone?
