Tech Today: Apple TV sets to be made by Samsung?
Rumour: Apple TV branded sets incoming?
This rumour came and went without much fuss a while ago, but it's back. Daily Tech reckons that plans for a TV that would feature the Apple TV hardware built-in could be on the agenda, with Samsung tipped as the likely manufacturer. Those two companies aren't exactly on great terms at the moment so it'll be interesting to see where this goes.

ITV Player lands on Android
Good news Android fans, ITV Player has launched its first mobile app and guess which platform it has landed on? The app will screen all of your favourites for seven days after they're screened and you'll be able to watch unlimited amounts of programming over WiFi. The app is a freebie too.

British teenager arrested, suspected of LulzSec involvement
Police have arrested a 19-year-old British man on suspicion of being involved with the LulzSec hacking group. In a joint operation, the FBI and the Metropolitan Police took Ryan Clearly into custody and seized his computer.

RIM updates PlayBook, still no native email
The BlackBerry Playbook has received another minor software update, but unfortunately there's still no sign of the native email client and the Android app player. What it does bring is Flash 10.3 and Adobe Air 2.7. It'll improve performance but its not enough to life the jet black cloud hanging over the company.

76 per cent of iPhone owners will use iCloud
Good news for Apple ahead of the iCloud launch later this year, over three-quarters of iPhone owners are planning to use the service in some capacity. Meanwhile 30 per cent are interested in using iTunes Match, analysts have revealed.
