Sony has at last made its PSN Pass official, aiming to offer exclusive online content to those who buy PS3 games brand new, rather than snagging pre-owned copies for a fraction of the price.
The new package will launch in September alongside Resistance 3. Gamers who stump up for the title will find a single-use code bundled in the box, which will allow them access to extra goodies online.
In a statement to Eurogamer, the Big S said, "This is an important initiative as it allows us to accelerate our commitment to enhancing premium online services across our first party game portfolio."
