Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige Edition gets RC racer

RC-XD Surveillance Vehicle to feature in special edition

Release of Call of Duty: Black Ops to be marked with two limited editions

With the latest instalment Call of Duty just around the corner pegged with a November 9th release, Activision has announced the Prestige Edition for Black Ops will include a fully functional radio-controlled car as modelled on one shown in the multiplayer gameplay trailer.

The RC-XD Surveillance Vehicle will have a range of 200-feet as well as a remote camera that transmits TFT colour video and audio back to the controller.

The Prestige version will also include the Hardened Edition of the game which has an inclusive special edition medal and four co-op game maps.

Last year’s release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 showed how good a special edition of a game could be. Rather than the typical artwork, soundtrack and DVD combo you often see, the Prestige version of the bestseller featured working night vision goggles.
