10.) Panasonic Technics DJ deck

Technics was originally a sub-brand of Panasonic birthed to sell high-end loudspeakers, but in 1969 the name would be forever become synonymous with direct-drive turntables. The SP-10 was the first in a long line of Technics decks that have sold over 3 million around the world and (as testament to the classic design) remains mostly unchanged to this day. The more consumer-focused SL-1100 - out in 1971 - now exists as the SL-1200
