Apple App Store Twitter feed live

Official feed serving up news on latest add-ons

10 billion-strong store finally gets involved with Twitter.

Apple has at last decided to open up an official App Store Twitter feed, offering up deets on the very latest add-ons to land on its virtual emporium, which passed ten billion downloads late last week.

The move had been expected for some time, but does mean you’ll be able to stay bang up-to-date with the myriad new apps which land on the store every single day.

Cupertino’s first tweet was hardly inspiring, simply reading, “Welcome to App Store on Twitter! Follow us to discover new apps, get exclusive offers, and share with friends.” You can follow updates @AppStore.

The feed already has 50,000 followers, impressive considering it only went official last night. You can follow us on Twitter too, with all the latest gadget news delivered direct.
