With a new wave of games expected to be released this year, including Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, T3 takes a look at the past to unveil 20 games that changed the way we play.
Games that changed it all
E3 2011 is upon us, and the T3 staffers are already on the ground in Los Angeles revelling in the most bleeding-edge technology the games industry has to offer. Permit us briefly, then, to return to the heady days of yesteryear, cross-legged in front of our tellies and hammering the controllers on our NES as if our lives - rather than just our jobs - depended on it.
Whether it was crashing our wireframe ship for the twelfth time into an inconveniently rotating docking station in Elite or being savaged by flocks of irate chickens in Ocarina of Time, each of the 20 games in this feature have earned their place in both our hearts and gaming's hall of fame. Sprits of video games past, we salute you.
Launch the feature: 20 games that changed it all.

We're working to fix the problem right now and will have it working as soon as possible
