The CoinShift run literal rings around the old designs. Rather than folding tools into a handle, they're arranged around a circular body roughly the size of a large coin. A quick twist rotates the tool you need into position, making it accessible in one movement rather than several.
Five stainless steel tools are built into the disc: a utility blade for everyday cutting, a box opener, flat-head screwdriver, scraper and bottle opener. Each locks into place as it's rotated into position, making it feel more like using a dedicated tool than unfolding a traditional multitool.
The compact design also means it slips easily into a pocket or onto a keyring without creating the usual bulk. It's a simple idea, but one that makes a surprising amount of sense for the jobs most people actually need throughout the day.
The CoinShift stays minimal and focuses on the essentials. That keeps the design slim while making each tool quicker to access, which is arguably more useful than carrying a miniature toolbox you'll rarely use.
