Firebox has really outdone themselves with their latest product-the Wand Remote. Straight out of a Harry Potter film, the device allows all youngsters out there to mimic their favourite wizard.

Fret not when you lose the remote as the Wand is on hand to control your TV, iPod deck and Sky+ box. It's a clever little thing too - with 10 programmable commands ranging from a flick to turn devices on and off, to spins allowing you to control the volume.

The "heartbeat" feature is also a nice touch, allowing gesture recognition and providing a handy low battery warning. The Wand even goes to sleep after 60 seconds of inactivity and automatically wakes up when you pick it up - making sure that you will feel like a proper wizard.
