Sony has officially released the third video in a continuing series of teaser trailers for the upcoming Sony S1 and S2 Android tablets, showcasing the device’s entertainment credentials.
Continuing the artsy theme reminiscent of the board game Mousetrap the teasing video has offered a previewing look at the two tablet’s multimedia capabilities with movies, eBooks and games all shown off running on the Android powered devices.
Whist the 9.4-inch Sony S1 tablet is shown playing movie content in the form of a Green Hornet trailer, its dual 5.5-inch touchscreen display touting clamshell S2 brethren can be seen running a Sony eReader application as well as taking care of PlayStation-esque gaming thanks to the PSOne classic Crash Bandicoot.
Whilst the finalised specifications of the Sony S1 and S2 tablets currently remain a mystery and closely guarded secret it is believed the two devices will touch down around October with the S2’s gaming creds to be remarkably similar to those of the recently released Sony Ericsson Xperia Play smartphone.
