Developer EA has announced that its upcoming Battlefield 3 release will land with a “Physical Warfare” DLC pack exclusive to gamers who pre-order the release through physical retail outlets, sparking outrage with gaming fans.
Set to launch in the UK on October 25th, Battlefield 3 is to challenge the likes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for the title of game of the year with those looking to snap the release up for a cut-priced fee online unable to acquire the “Physical Warfare” DLC that will bring exclusive weaponry and accessories.
Available to gamers who pre-order the first person shooter through high street outlets of GAME and gamestation, the Battlefield 3 “Physical Warfare” pack which features the Back to Karkand map pack will offer those who shun online orders a feast of exclusive content.
"Type 88 light machine gun with bipod for superior firepower and total zone control, the SKS sniper rifle flash suppressor that provides increased stealth abilities for Recon soldiers, and the lethal armour-piercing flechette ammo for the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun that is sure to tear through anything in its path,” are all included in the Physical Warfare pack according to EA.
"Also included is day one access to the highly versatile DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun itself."
