Due to 4G connectivity being unavailable in the UK, this handset will not affect the UK market. It does however mark a huge move by RIM to push its BlackBerry devices to the cutting edge of technology capabilities for the American market where the original 4G handset, the HTC EVO is recording huge sales.

The longstanding dominant force as the business handset of choice, the rumoured BlackBerry Triton would offer users faster data access and video calling through the front facing camera. Although currently nothing more than a very juicy rumour, the 4G capable BlackBerry is sure to garner a lot of interest from business and consumers alike stateside with further details and those ever tantalising leaked photos and spec sheets sure to follow.
