Fans of Sega’s final console, the mighty Dreamcast, can rejoice this morning, with the news that games from the classic hub are on their way to both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
Sega says that Sonic Adventure and Big Taxi will land on both download services later this year, although specific release dates have not been offered up.
Sega’s Haruki Satomi said, “There are few things that are more requested from us than making Dreamcast classics available for download in today's digital market place. We're very excited to begin offering gamers our beloved Dreamcast titles again on the current console systems.” Satomi also rightly points out that with its online skills and killer graphics, the Dreamcast was well ahead of its time.
There’s no news on other titles, but with the first two planned, surely there’ll be more to come. What Dreamcast games do you want? Tell us now.
