Nokia has had to take another hit, just days after feeling like it had been given a breather by Apple.
Nokia to close UK online store
Nokia has confirmed that it will be shutting down the UK online store after it revealed that poor sales and huge subsidies by the networks had caused interest in the store to drop dramatically.
Customers in the UK will have until June 30 to get their hands on a Nokia handset direct, after which the company will still provide full product support.
This is hardly surprising news, the subsidies that networks offer has always been a barrier for the phone companies to directly compete with, however it is contrasting to the good news Nokia had just days before with it's battle against Apple.
