iPad-rival finally hitting UK a month after US got first taste.
Motorola Xoom UK release date next week
The Motorola Xoom will definitely be out in the UK next week. But while the mobile maker has said it will be out at a string of tech stores, it still won’t say how much the slate will cost.

Moto has told Engadget that the Xoom will be up for grabs at Dixons, Currys and PC World, as well as Carphone Warehouse, with a Wi-Fi and 3G model both available.
Although there have been a string of leaks regarding price, there’s still no official price for the iPad-botherer. It’s believed a Wi-Fi-only 32GB version will costs £500, £20 pricier than the equivalent 32GB iPad. The 3G edition will come in at around £600.
Has Motorola left it too late to compete with the iPad 2 in the UK? Or will this Android Honeycomb tablet do the business? Tell us what you think on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
