Def Jam Rapstar game gets November 5th launch date

Calling all wannabe Eminems and Vanilla Ices; this game will be the shizzle, yo!

If you’re not a rock God keen on guitar hero or pop sensation looking to screech out to SingStar’s Take That game then Konami’s latest unveiling, Def Jam Rapstar might be for you.

The first Hip-Hop only karaoke-themed game will land in Europe on November 5th it has been revealed, one month after it hits shelves in the States on October 5th.

To be made available on the three big consoles, Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii, Def Jam Rapstar will let budding rappers and wannabe Hip-Hop artists sing, sorry, rap, along to over 40 of the best Hip-Hop songs around including the likes of Outkast and Ice Cube.

The UK version of the game will also come with exclusive bonus tracks from home-grown talent such as Tinchy Stryder and N-Dubz.

Much of the game’s focus will revolve around users sharing their experiences and rapping talents through the use of a console attached camera with videos to be uploaded direct to a Rapstar community.

Users will also be able to upload their freestyle performances as they put their own mark on specially produced backing tracks for the Rapstar community to judge.
