Survival horror game Dead Space is now officially available to download for the iPhone, iPod Touch and the Apple iPad.
Having already experienced success on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, the iOS version brings an original story and some seriously impressive graphics having taken full advantage of the new Retina display on the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch.
New weaponry which include a plasma saw and a core extractor have been added to your armoury, while in-app upgrades mean dismemberment can be taken to a whole different level.
Featuring a voice-acted soundtrack along with orchestrated score effects, you can expect to experience a similarly haunting environment which made the console version so gripping.
If you register your iOS copy of Dead Space, those planning to grab a copy of Dead Space 2 for PS3, Xbox 360 or PC which launches on the 28th January, will be able to unlock new content in the Dead Space sequel.
Dead Space which is available from the App Store now is priced at £3.99, and requires iOS 3.0 or later and a hefty 291 MB of space.
