4iiii, a company who love the letter ‘i’ even more than Apple have just announced its latest gadget to make your life healthier, a heart rate monitor that will talk to your iPhone called the Viiiiva.
Worn around the chest, the Viiiiva (yes that does include 4 i’s) keeps a track of your heart rate and then syncs the results to an app, ready to be thoroughly analysed.
4iiii have decided to make their fitness device work with other similar products like smart watches, the Garmin 610 for example, so your heart rate will be synced across to that as well through ANT+, without the need for any fiddly adapters.
If you’re not familiar with ANT+, basically it is used to connect lots of different sensors together and manage all the data coming from them. 4iiii is not developing its own app for the Viiiiva, instead giving users the choice of popular ones already out, like Runtastic.
The Viiiiva is available to order now, well a release date set for later this month and a price tag of $79.

We're working to fix the problem right now and will have it working as soon as possible
