Prime Day is not quite here yet, but there are some seriously good action camera deals live right now on the Akaso range. If you're not familiar with Akaso, this brand makes some of the best cheap action cameras around, and is a great shout if you're looking for a GoPro alternative that won't break the bank.

Our pick of the range is the Akaso Brave 7 LE, which offers excellent value even at full price, but which has 20% off right now. A standout feature is the front-facing screen, which you can use to frame yourself in shot, and which is typically never included with action cams at this low price point. However, if you're really on a tight budget, there are also offers on the Akaso EK7000 (now under £50) and the Akaso V50 Pro Native.

Because they're not part of the Prime Day event, you don't need to be a Prime subscriber to claim these offers. However, when the official Amazon Prime Day deals drop on Tuesday and Wednesday, you will need to be a Prime subscriber to claim. Note, you can access them by just signing up for the free trial – then if it doesn't suit you, just make sure you cancel before the trial period is up.

The LE is a stripped-back, even cheaper version of the 7, and it's also come in for a Prime Day deal. This is a deal we see all the time at Amazon, but it's rare to find this camera for a lower price. Akaso Brave 7 LE action camera review for more of our thoughts on this one.
