Sony S1 and S2 Android tablets see specs leak online

Sony’s upcoming S1 and S2 Android tablets have reportedly seen their specs leaked with the mysterious tablets claimed to be heading for release in a variety of storage capacities and Wi-Fi + 3G connectivity forms.

Citing a “source familiar with the company’s plans for the Android devices,” gadget blog CNET has claimed the 9.4-inch Sony S1 tablet will be made available with 16- or 32 GB storage capacities with each size set to land as both Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi + 3G models.

Adversally the new reports suggest the dual 5.5-inch screen touting Sony S2 will be made available only as a Wi-Fi + 3G option but again feature a selection of either 16GB or 32GB innards.

Whilst Sony has offered a number of teasing looks at the S1 and S2 tablets over the past few months via a selection of teaser videos, the Japanese tech giant has yet to confirm any specifications for the two devices which are expected to touch down later this year.
