Dell Aero set to follow in footsteps of larger sibling the Dell Streak?

Dell has released the Dell Aero, its lightest smartphone and one of the lightest Android smartphones available on the market. It's only available in the US at the moment, however considering how quickly the Dell Streak arrived here, you can probably expect it to be landing in the UK soon.

Specs wise the Dell Aero is very nicely put together; a 624Mhz processor powers a souped up version of Android 1.5. It then has a 5-Megapixel camera on the back and will play full Flash video on its 3.5-inch Gorilla glass screen.

Overall it appears to be a promising next-step for Dell and the Aero is not lacking in the looks department either, with a streamlined black-gloss finish that looks extremely pocketable. Combine that with WiFi, expandable memory of up to 32GB and handwriting recognition you've got an extremely promising handset.
