Ditching that classy styled aluminium of the iPhone 5, the rear shell and the sides of the iPhone 5c are now constructed out of one piece of sturdy polycarbonate plastic, paired with same glass front we’ve come to know and love (until we knock it off the table). This plastic shell will not only bring the cost of the device down, but it also allows Apple to produce the device in a range of bright colours. Similar to what we’ve seen numerous times from Nokia, on recent phones like the Lumia 920 and Lumia 625, the iPhone 5C comes in green, white, blue, pink, and yellow.
