Microsoft plays nice with Apple as Windows Phone 7 revolution gathers pace.
Microsoft has confirmed that it will be releasing sync software that will let new Windows Phone 7 owners snaffle content directly from their OSX-packing Macs.
The move isn’t necessarily a surprise, but does go to show just how far the Big M and Cupertino have come in recent years. Such a sync would have been unthinkable back in the day.
In a statement, Microsoft said, “Later in 2010 Microsoft will make a public beta available of a tool that allows Windows Phone 7 to sync select content with Mac computers.” While that’s vague, it likely means you’ll be able to nab tunes and certain shows and movies, as well as calendar info.
