If you're a fan of Tottenham, Chelsea, Everton or Liverpool, you enter this weekend with dreams of your team moving one step closer to lifting the FA Cup with a semi-final victory over a bitter local rival.

However, even if your team doesn't make it back to Wembley for the final on May 5th, you can still get your hands on the famous old trophy with the help of Budweiser's Man of the Match application.

Well, sort of.

The iPhone and Android app, which will allow users to vote for the best player on the pitch in Saturday and Sunday's fixtures, has been upgraded with a little Augmented Reality wizardry from the folks at Aurasma, the brains behind one of the top AR apps currently on the market.

If you happen to spot one of the promotional Bud beer mats at your alehouse of choice this weekend, you can flash your iPhone's camera lens at it, and it'll be magically transformed into a fully-3D rendering of the FA Cup, which you can wield at will.

So, win or lose this weekend, you can either peer into your smartphone's display and wistfully think of what might have been, or toast your upcoming final appearance by imagining what messrs Gerrard, Terry, Neville or King could look like running around Wembley with the cup.
