The British audio stalwart has just revealed its new Compact 3040c mid-priced floorstanding speakers, available in four finishes – Pin Oak, Satin White, Claro Walnut or Satin Black, as pictured above.
The 3040c marks a step up from bookshelf speakers – although the brand will happily provide you with myriad options of those if preferred – designed for moderately sized living spaces.
The price is also moderately sized, being a big part of the 3040c's appeal. You can pick up a pair for £599 / $1,099 / AU$TBC in any of those four finishes right now.
Do keep in mind that you'll need to factor in a separate amplifier, of course, with a minimum 25W and maximum 120W recommended by Q Acoustics.

That'll drive each speaker's dual 4.75in "C³" mid/bass cones and single 0.9in tweeter, delivering across a large portion of the frequency range, from 43Hz to 30kHz. That's plenty of low-end without the need to add a subwoofer.
The 3040c is inspired by the brand's flagship range, with a "floating" design on distinctive aluminium feet – the rears with "wings" – and no visible screws on the cabinets, for a finessed finish.
